Enhance Armor / Melt Armor
Enhance Armor
Select an armor type, then select a specific piece of armor within that type. If you have appropriate TIME & Essence, you can enhance the armor item. Common armors cost 1 TIME & 1 COMMON Uncommon armors cost 1 TIME & 1 UNCOMMON Rare armors cost 1 TIME & 1 RARE Legendary armors cost 1 TIME & 1 LEGENDARY Mythic armors cost 1 TIME & 1 MYTHIC Armor can be enhanced up to 10 times. Each enhancement carries a scaling 5% change to destroy the armor. Your first enhancement has a 5% chance to burn the armor. Your tenth enhancement carries a 50% chance to burn the armor. If the armor is destroyed during enhancement you receive back 50% of the armors bonus value as enhancement Enhancement increases the stats of the armor by +1 & 20%. The base +1 was added to create some value in enhancing lower stat common items. As an example, a piece of armor with 50 to all stats, would gain +11 on enhancement for a total of +61 stats. 50 + (50*.2) + 1 50 being the original, 50*.2 being the 20% increase, +1 being the minimum increase. Values are rounded to whole integers.
Melt Armor
Unwanted armor can be melted down to return some essence. Select your armor type and the specific armor, then perform the melt operation. You will receive essence equal to 50% of the bonus stat on the armor. So a rare armor with +6 bonus would return 3 RARE essence
Enhance/Melt Weapons
Weapon enhancement and melting works the same as armor above. Each successful enhancement increases stats by +1 & 20%. Weapons can be enhanced up to 10 times. Each enhancement carries a scaling 5% change to destroy the weapon. Your first enhancement has a 5% chance to burn the weapon. Your tenth enhancement carries a 50% chance to burn the weapon.
